About Us

The founding philosophy of 2eva.ie is to provide clients with unambiguous advice about what products and services are best for them when building or renovating. This results in cost effective advice that over the life of building’s usage offers significant energy cost savings and reduction in CO2emissions.

With the ever changing Building Regulations and the associated Acts the demands being placed on construction professionals is growing and it is virtually impossible for one profession to cover all the aspects of building leading to the requirements for specialised consultants like 2eva.ie.

Our consultancy is designed to be timely and to ultimately save money but as importantly to provide advice and guidance to ensure that the completed building is compliant with Part (L) which we can then certify to the final professional who is going to sign off on the building and to Building Control.

We provide advice on all types of buildings to a diverse range of professional & private clients, many of whom we are delighted to welcome back as repeat customers.  Whether it is a one off house builder or a multi unit builder working on a scheme of hundreds of houses the drive to provide best practise consultancy is what we do.

The main services are energy consultancy through Part (L) Compliance Reports, Air Leakage Testing of buildings, Building Energy Ratings (BER) and thermal bridging calculations.

2eva.ie is a Carlow based independent energy consultancy firm. The company was founded in 2007 by Mark Shirley & is based in the Carlow Gateway Business Centre, the previous Research & Development facility of Irish Sugar.
